Encounters is the lecture series organised by The Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environmental Studies (KRVIA). We were invited for one of the lectures to speak about De-coding the processes of architectural practice. It provided an opportunity to introspect the structure of various design processes. Every person formulates a path for their design process through the interpretation of the brief, establishing the intentions for their design and choosing tools and methods to develop it further. Here, we identified emerging patterns within the structure of these paths to not only reflect upon the journey of the process but also comment on the potential of these patterns.
